Minnesota brings a very different/unique flavor this time around with his much anticipated free release album “Altered States” EP, following up on his free “Astral Projection EP” which was released earlier this year.
“Altered States” spans a range of almost “soulful” trap and dubstep influenced tunes which includes many elements of different yet related music, including hip hop, R&B, soul, and modern electronic music in general. All five have a somewhat “relaxed” vibe to them, while remaining bass heavy. Even though they’ve been released in the midst of an approaching winter, I can see these being some staples of chill summertime festival sets!
